hello there friend.

here you will find the chronicles of a curious girl.

 a little gem named Symi

a little gem named Symi

It is crazy to think how many tiny beautiful towns exist all throughout the world. I was lucky enough to pay a trip to one of the world’s little gems—Symi. The journey to Symi was about a 1.5 hour boat ride away from the port of Rhodes. Upon entering the bay in Symi, we were transported to a landscape that looks like the scene of a dream. Symi is absolutely stunning! The coast was lined with beautiful, colorful buildings that were uniform in architecture and altogether lovely. The sea is a bright turquoise color, and the harbor is speckled with cute little boats. In Symi there are restaurants that you can have a bite at then decide to jump in the water if you’d like.

Our day in Symi is one of those afternoon’s I woulnd’t mind reliving forever. It was comprised of time spent meandering through the streets and along the waterfront. Surrounded by my two favorite people, beautiful scenery, kind people, and of course an abundance of greek yogurt, Symi was my kind of paradise.
