vibrant Venice

Venice is a place unlike any other. Regardless of any preconceptions you have about this city, I can assure you that a trip to Venice will leave you utterly enchanted. Walking through the colorful streets today, my spirit was invigorated. Truth being told, before this trip began I had no idea what to expect from this experience. However, exploring Venice today made me realize how unimportant I had been placing certain things in my life. The carefree spirit of Venice reminded me that life is much too short to worry and stress about the things I do. There are so many more things to celebrate rather than to focus on the negatives. Another perspective altering moment today was when I stepped inside St. Mark's Basilica. Though I had been before, my breath was completely taken away by the stunning cathedral. How incredible the world we live in is and especially how incredible our God is!

Highlights of the day:

St. Marks Basilica-being reminded how important God is throughout the world and my own life. He is so big. I am so small.

Hearing Italians speak-it is a magical art within itself

seeing 100s of dogs-plus seeing a Bedlington Terrier

being alive-overall I am just thankful for the existence of this day
